The White Sox have been in Chicago since 1900 with dedicated workers supporting the team for more than 100 years. We were one of the American League’s original 8 charter franchises. Six years later, we beat the Cubs in the only Chicago crosstown World Series in history!

As one columnist recently put it:
A word of caution to those disgruntled patrons who affixed Bozo noses to Jerry Reinsdorf’s picture and implored the beleaguered Chairman to sell the White Sox during the most futile season in franchise history:
Be careful what you wish for.
Reinsdorf just might do it. And for those who complain about the inconvenience of traveling to Bridgeport to watch baseball, try Nashville. It’s a lot farther south, and a much more expensive trip.
Team owners, like players, come and go. Our jobs need to stay.
Setting aside all other matters, we don’t want the Sox to be wooed to another city. Sign the petition if you agree!
